Dr Vin Gamage
Dr Vin Gamage completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2009. Originally from Sri Lanka, Dr Gamage relocated to Australia in 2013 and worked in multiple hospitals before joining the Australian General Practice Training Program working mainly in Echuca, Western Victoria. During this time, Dr Gamage developed a keen interest in Rural Generalist Medicine & Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine (FACRRM) with Advanced Training in Emergency Medicine.
Dr Vin Gamage joined the Brooke Street Medical Centre team in 2020 and he balances his time between Brooke Street Medical Centre, supporting students with medical education, and rural emergency medicine. His special interests include, general consulting, chronic disease management, men’s health and medical education.
In his spare time, Vin enjoys travelling, bushwalking and spending time with his family.
