A Bone Densitometry, also known as DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) scan, is a medical imaging test used to measure bone mineral density (BMD). It helps diagnose osteoporosis, assess fracture risk and monitor bone helath over time. 

It also provides detailed insights into body composition and measures the distribution of lean muscle, fat and bone mass.
